Past Run
When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit
In 1933 in Berlin, Anna is only nine years old when her life changes forever. Her father, a well known opponent of Nazism, flees Germany with Anna, her twelve-year-old brother Max and her mother Dorothea. Anna has to leave everything behind including her beloved pink rabbit as her family face a new life of challenges and privations first in a bucolic Swiss village, then to a garret in Paris and finally to relative safety in England. Directed by Oscar®-winner Caroline Link (Nowhere in Africa) and based on the the best selling memoir of beloved children’s author Judith Kerr (The Tiger Who Came to Tea).

“Gently moving...as wistful as memory.”
