We’re Nothing at All
On Valentine’s Day, a double-decker bus erupts in a devastating explosion on the streets of Hong Kong, leaving behind a trail of destruction and unanswered questions. Retired forensic expert Lung Sir (Patrick Tam) is called back to investigate, gradually uncovering the lives of two young men connected to the tragedy.
Fai (Anson Kong) has endured a lifetime of hardship, growing up in an abusive family and struggling to find his place in a world that offers him little kindness. Ike (ANSONBEAN), a young artist rejected by his family because of his sexual orientation, faces his own battles with discrimination and isolation. When their paths cross, the two find an unexpected sense of belonging in each other, forging a bond that offers hope amid their increasingly difficult circumstances.
As the investigation unfolds, their deeply personal story reveals the devastating consequences of prejudice, inequality, and social indifference.
Inspired by true events, acclaimed Hong Kong filmmaker Herman Yau delivers a powerful and emotionally charged drama that explores love, dignity, and the struggles of those pushed to the margins of society.
