Toxic: The English-Language Version

TOXIC is an Indian period gangster action thriller directed by Geetu Mohandas, starring Yash in a dual role alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth.

The story is set in a bygone era, unfolding in the coastal paradise of Goa, where a powerful drug cartel operates behind the scenes of a vibrant, sun-soaked culture. The narrative blends high-octane action with psychological depth, positioning the film as a “fairytale for grown-ups” — a layered, more morally complex tale than is often the case in an action film.

With a female director at the helm, TOXIC is set to be one of the most expensive Indian productions ever made.
