The namesake goddess of fate haunts this seaside tale
of two brothers who dare to test her powers, albeit in vastly different ways. The elder, recently released from prison, believes that a fishing boat will provide for the impoverished family and bring the mother back from her work abroad. The younger opts for the shortcuts to make quick money. Both are caught in a web of familial obligations, desire to make things better for their parents, and devotion to each other.
