In defiance of Russia’s anti-LGTBQ laws, a 21-year-old queer artist risks her life performing in surreal costumes throughout Moscow. Jenna Marvin’s radical public performances blend artistry and activism in this SXSW documentary.

Screenings on December 28 and 29, 2024 and on January 4 and 5, 2025 will be preceded by the Oscar-shortlisted short documentary, SEAT 31: ZOOEY ZEPHYR (15 minutes). The film goes behind the scenes with the state representative from Montana as she made international news fighting for trans medical care-and making a momentous decision in her own life.
