Outskirts: Route 66

Angus and Lachlan Morton are among the most engaging characters in cycling. Their breakthrough documentary series, Thereabouts, has inspired tens of thousands of cyclists around the world. As they continue to push boundaries in the sport, London-based brand Rapha has partnered with Thereabouts to produce Outskirts, an incredible new series.

The first of the three films, Outskirts: Route 66, documents four cyclists as they ride the length of the US along the world-renowned Route 66. Shooting from the hip and documenting every moment of their adventure, they created the first Outskirts feature film. The film chronicles their epic exploration of the US at one of the most divided points in its history. Featuring interviews with the characters and caricatures they met along the way, it is a no holds barred view of the once-great American highway and its incredible transformation when seen from the saddle of a bike.

Outskirts producer and rider, Gus Morton will be in attendance at the screening to share stories and inspiration behind the making the film.
