When single mother Anne (Ursula Strauss) finds out her son Ben (Marlon Heidel) is a victim of cyberbullying, she fights for her sons rights amidst an unthinkable tragic event.
It gets better (Es wird besser) deals with cyberbullying, the lack of empathy for victims and insufficient laws in Germany.
The story unfolds through the eyes of a mother who finds out, what happened to her son at school and especially online.
He on the other hand hides his problems and tends to cut himself. When she finally finds out, she immediately promises to make things better for him and realizes,
that he isn't the only one suffering from cyberbullying.
