Independent Writers Caucus Short Film Festival

Join the Independent Writers Caucus (IWC) for the inaugural IWC Short Film Festival, a celebration of bold, original storytelling and the diverse voices shaping independent cinema!

Featuring a curated selection of short films from emerging and established filmmakers, the festival brings audiences together for a morning of compelling stories, fresh perspectives, and a shared love of film. These films showcase the creativity, originality, and range of independent storytellers.

The festival takes place Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Laemmle NoHo 7.

Following the screening, join filmmakers, writers, creatives, and fellow film lovers for a reception at Lawless Brewing Co. from 12:30–3:30 PM.

More stories. More voices. More impact.

Come celebrate the filmmakers, support independent cinema, and discover your next favorite short!
