Gazelle

Alone in New York, Yakup clings to the hope of reunion. As the wait drags on, his grip on time and reality begins to slip, pulling him deeper into a fragile and unsettling inner world.
Drawing from lived experiences of exile and displacement, the film unfolds as an intimate psychological drama of separation, resilience, and the fragile terrain of the human mind.
First-time feature filmmakers Nadir Sarıbacak (known for his role in Nuri Bilge Ceylan's Winter Sleep) and Samy Pioneer capture the texture of Turkish American and migrant life in the city while tracking their protagonist's unraveling state of mind.

The film will screen daily at 7:30 PM between October 22 and 29. To purchase tickets, please go to: https://gazellefilm.com/Laemmle (or just click on the active link below)
