Bernadette of Lourdes: The Musical in Cinema

Captured live in France and named the official show of the Year of Jubilee 2025, the musical phenomenon made its U.S. debut at the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis last summer—and is now coming to a movie theatre near you!

Discover or rediscover the inspiring story of Bernadette Soubirous, the fourteen-year-old girl who, in the mid-19th century in southern France, encountered 18 Marian apparitions.

Based on historical records from interrogations and investigations by police, district attorneys, and church authorities, the musical focuses on how Bernadette, the poorest and least educated girl in town, bravely faced her skeptics with character, candor, honesty, and a good sense of humor. Bernadette’s message remains unchanged: bearing witness is more powerful than seeking to convince.
