Berlin Loop

When a disillusioned young cleaning woman steals a bike to make some extra cash, she unexpectedly encounters the world of Berlin’s notorious bike thieves, and becomes the chief lock-picker for the bike-theft-mafia. While the job nets her some extra income at first, she feels trapped by the nefarious boss of the gang, Windisch, and must escape him to regain her freedom. After barely fending off the bike gang’s goons, she flees to the forgotten countryside outside the city, to a place where she could be happy – but a mysterious force draws her back into the same cycle of revenge, and she goes back to the bike that drew her into this mess again and again. Eventually, she finds herself
fighting not only Windisch, but her own greed as she realizes with each cycle her need for more. A coming of age fable where Run Lola Run meets Emily the Criminal.
