The Asian Ring

Short Live Action

September 11
The day the Western order shattered
U.S. premiere on this historic date
As brutal wars rage across our world today
Leaving fresh graves in their wake

A voiceless parable
The silent shadow of fallen soldiers
Dismantling the myth of heroic glory
Unveiling the unvarnished agony of war

Beyond this endless desolation
Indo Asian wisdom reveals Samsara
The tragic wheel of grief and rebirth

The fragile voyage of a leaf cutting ant
Mirrors the conditio humana
Blindly clinging to the human ego
Entrapped in the golden illusion of Maya
Oblivious to the fleeting breath of time

A narrative borne by music
That sings of ultimate love and heroism
Yet once summoned millions to slaughter

The Asian Ring unfolds
A parallel history of image and pure sound
Culminating in a sacred all consuming fire
To burn away the ego
And break the timeless cycle of violence
