The 47

Inspired by a true story, Marcel Barrena's five-time Goya Award winner is a striking new drama starring the superb Eduard Fernández as a bus driver whose act of peaceful dissidence transformed modern Barcelona during the city's boom in the late 1970s.

Encouraged by his neighbors to get involved in their fight, and to debunk City Council’s claims that buses cannot climb the hills in his district, one day Manolo decides to hijack his own bus and attempt to prove that you can...

A rousing drama about neighborhood pride, natural justice and the power of people coming together to create change, EL 47 is stirring viewing.
